This morning my boyfriend and I broke up and I feel shattered. It was a joint decision but the reasons behind our break up are mental illness related. He has bad anxiety and I have PTSD and Bipolar. I make him anxious and he makes me withdraw. It is very complicated. I hate this illness of mind right now. To top it off I have been going through a mild mixed state for a couple of weeks so I am not that stable to start with. And it is Christmas soon. Bad time for a break up.

A breakup is never a fun thing. But if you both are triggering each others illnesses then maybe it's a good thing? Do you see a therapist that can help you get through the holidays?

Dx: BP2, PTSD, bulimia/anorexia
Seroquel 150mgs
Risperdal 4mg
Trileptal 600mgs
Buspar 45mgs
Ativan 1mg PRN
Vyvance 70mgs PRN

Thanks. I have a great T who I see weekly normally but next week will be the last time I see him for 5 weeks as he is going away. Again, bad timing. I see my Pdoc on the 21st Dec which will help if I can't shake this mixed state.

I am so panicked, agitated and dissociated. I am overwhelmed with the stress. Off to work now so hopefully that will take my mind off things.
