So I HAVE to let my pdoc go. She's an incredible FLAKE that even ADMITTED she was an idiot during our meeting today. The problem is that I hate finding a new pdoc. They try to re-diagnose you, change your meds, and make you go through your sordid history. I guess I have to decide which is worst.

Every one I call isn't available until after the END of January. I'll run out of meds before I can meet a new one and I really don't want to have to see her again. AAAAAARGH!

Your GP should be able (and willing) to write scrips for your current meds for a month to tide you over. Mine did for 3 months while I was between pdocs. And I agree, trying to find a new one is a major pain. In the area I live in there are just not many choices (like five total) but if I were in a larger area and needed a new one I'd do as much research as I could to try to find a good one. Good luck!

You should probably continue seeing your old psychiatrist until you have a new one in place.

I'd call your GP and ask but stick to old pdoc until new pdoc does your intake.
