I personally think one of the most difficult challenges is intrusive thoughts. When you feel "ok" but have thoughts of ways to self-harm or end your life in a manner that would certainly work. Not being particularly suicidal but for some reason *wanting* to take that action and having to fight it. Whats worse is how impulsive I can be at times. I worry one day I will be impulsive and just pull the trigger.

At least I think its one of the hardest. I have to do anything to distract or stop the thoughts (including using the STOP skill from DBT.) Rarely does anything really make them go away.

They come and go all the time.

I hate this. Time for more DBT.
