I know this isn't specifically bipolar related but I wanted to update since I vented a lot here and received a lot of support. Even though the job at the gas station was extremely stressful in multiple ways and I ended up quitting because of a bunch of BS, I made it to my goal and I just ordered that gaming laptop. Crying a little even though it's stupid but I can't believe I made it to a goal and earned something I really wanted. I thought they might not pay me for my last two weeks' worked because they were major d-bags but the payment just loaded onto my card half an hour ago. Just wanted to share again because of the venting I did here and the support I got, thanks everyone.

Is your cognitive skills back to normal? Haven't checked other of your recent posts, glad you're okay though.

If I were you? I'd go back to that gas station and find that assistant manager and flip her a bird, smile and say "Merry Christmas to ya!",,nah I wouldn't. I hope you'll be getting as much rest as you need, don't stay up late with your gaming laptop, eh?

I'm so glad you were able to meet your goal. It sounded like an awful environment and I'm glad you are out of there but more glad you have what you wanted to earn. Congratulations!

Hey, I have one more post to make here. Working toward a goal, say getting a stuff you like is alright, I guess. Doing something for your next career, you spotted and reacted the right way to the d-baggery that is rampant, which I think is more important thing to take out of this. You had such a difficulties getting there, the inner turmoil you described needs a reward too, I suppose. Gaming laptop, I used to consider myself as self confessed geek, not many parts inside are replaceable, I guess you know that already. What did you really get from this experience, if I may ask? You don't have to answer that.

Fossil fuel, which we all know as a limited natural resource, cigarettes which kills, and I have to say, your power hungry gaming laptop! Enjoy it while it lasts, I really mean it.

You(We) are going to outlast the laptop as well as the gas station. Their BS and d-baggery are partly the blame for what you had to go through. Don't just let them pay you off.,,,,,,,

Anyhow, I enjoyed reading your insightful posts, thanks and congrats to you one more time.
