Seriously! Apparently, the computer was down when my blood was drawn so they hand marked it. It was lost somewhere in the process. Someone is researching this right now but it is outstanding to me. Blood has to be monitored weekly on my new med (clozapine) as it can cause a rare but potentially fatal disease that effects your white blood cells. To complicate this further, I have been down with a virus and been particularly feverish which is a symptom of this disease. My GP feels confident that my fever is unrelated as my throat is red and I am congested but she was also eager for the blood results. How aggravating and nerve racking!

That's awful! I hope they find them and get things straightened out ASAP.

What the hey! It seems like the world is against you going on this med or something. I hope they find the results.

I know! My doctor made 3 mistakes; the pharmacist divided up many more meds than is apparently allowed, and now this! On the other hand, I have had several normal and even wonderful days. I hope the med is to blame!

I had this happen once with a hospital. It was extremely frustrating but not nearly as much as it would be with the ANC draws and even more so with having viral symptoms. I guess it's good that your pharmacy messed up with giving you too many meds.

I'm so glad you've had some good days! Hopefully LabCorp will fix this somehow and you can keep having good days without worrying where your blood has gone.

"I hope the med is to blame!" How cute. I hope your med is causing you good days also. What a great time to have good days!

I had something similar happen to me in the hospital. I was getting a blood transfusion while they induced labor 7 weeks early. I was really sick. They did the blood transfusion over night and a nurse stayed by me the whole time. When the transfusion was done she said she was going to take a quick break. Well 15 minutes later she came running into my room and asked if someone had taken my blood while while she was gone I said no. Well they had test results for me but never took my blood.

I was in the hospital by myself. My husband had just started a new job I called him and told him to get his butt down to the hospital and I called a friend who live close to the hospital. She throw on clothes and came right down and only left for an hour when someone else showed up. She went home took a shower and came right back

I hope they find your blood soon

Good luck
