I already posted a thread about me trying saphris last night, but instead of knocking me out, I had terrible insomnia. My legs were so restless that I couldn't sleep for 4 hours straight. When I finally did fall asleep, I woke up many times within 3 hours with awful anxiety. I had to force myself just to sleep a few more hours after that, but still woke up feeling horribly anxious. My pdoc prescribed this specifically for anxiety but it seems to have done the complete opposite?..

Thats how the mania started only i didnt know I was manic until it was too late. I never slept on saphris. No not never, never more than a few hours. Everyone reacts to meds different but if this feeling lasts more than a week i suggest calling pdoc.

I just can't risk another night of it. You aren't frightening me; my experience did

I hope you're able to get to sleep soon. I was thinking of requesting valium at my next appointment actually. I remember it working pretty well the one time I needed it

This was experience too. Except that I didn't sleep at all.

Worst RLS of my life (and I've had that since I was a kid). What was worse was I couldn't get up and walk around to help it. The saphris had made my walking totally wonky. I'm ok with waiting out initial side effects, but this was too much. Refused to take it again.

It was certainly a surprise. Psych had told me to be totally ready for bed before taking it. Also, I didn't care about the flavor. So many people can't stand it. I was indifferent. (It sure doesn't taste like the black cherry it purports to be(!) It was just like Cepacol (numbing spritz spray for sore throat).)

Yes! It made my walking really wonky too. I tried to get up at one point to get more water and I felt drunk, but whenever I laid down again, the restless legs started right back up. I was also kinda indifferent to the flavor. Yeah it's not that pleasant, but I've had much worst tasting medicine. Not even 10 mins after I took it I felt the onset of extreme anxiety, even more so than I normally experience. Never taking it again!

Exactly! It was like being drunk. Bumbling around noodle-legged and walking into things. No fun.
