So I've written my note for my next pdoc visit, which is soon. I'll type my note out on here. I'm just wondering if anything will change. I have bipolar 1 and panic disorder.

During the middle of December I had a little slip up. I forgot to take my meds for 2 days. After that I felt great. So, that led to me not taking my meds for about a week, which was bad. Everything seemed sped up and my head was racing. I started to hear and occasionally see things again. I was really paranoid and barely getting any sleep. I eventually got back on the meds thanks to my mom. I feel back to way I did before.

I've also been feeling like this:
-feeling detached from my body
-nothing around me seems real
-sometimes I can't tell if it's real life or a dream
-feels like my head is going to explode

Oh, your doc might tag something onto your diagnoses, but perhaps not -- depends on the doc and if he/she feels your symptoms are critical/important. Or perhaps if YOU feel they are.

With all the meds in your signature, it's no wonder you're feeling out of sorts after stopping then starting again! Hopefully your doc can make sure your current dosages are squared away.

No reason to edit your dx, even though yours was probably due to messing with your meds, what you experienced is quite common for many people with your dx.

I have the same diagnosis as you and I went in originally because I was paranoid, had racing thoughts, was seeing things and hearing things. I also had a major loss of sleep and all kinds of other strange things. Bipolar 1 with psychotic features is what it says on my diagnosis.

Thanks everyone. I was just hoping my bipolar diagnosis would be lifted but oh well.

If anyone else has anything to say feel free!

Your symptoms are those of your diagnosis so I don't see why your pdoc would eliminate it. Just make sure you're taking your meds every day. Set an alarm if you have too. I recently tried to quit my buspar because I thought my anxiety had "gone away". I ended up having a major panic attack at my new job. Talk about embarrassing!
