Yeah, I know that feeling all too well... It's not a good feeling at all... but hang in there.

Hope things get better for you soon

Hallie,

It will go away. When we are in that situation we believe is forever. It's not. It will go away same as it came. Hang in there. Blessing.

Reminds me of my deepest depression of my life back in 2003. I was put on Paxil and did well on SSRI's for years (along with mood stabilizers) and then my moods started swinging more toward hypomania/ mixed states, so I don't take SSRI's anymore. Just a thought, though, if you are that depressed you may be able to take an antidepressant temporarily. ((HUGS))

You are worthwhile, you are unique. You are needed. You only feel defeated because your body chemistry is out of wacky right now. Hugs, it will get better. Maybe like someone else suggested see if your pdoc will put you on an antidepressant temporarily till you are lifted out of this.

That's just depression talking, NOT reality. Once you can get the depression under control, you won't feel this way anymore.

How long have you felt this way? Are you having s******* thoughts? Are you at risk of harming yourself or others? If the answer is yes to the last question, get yourself to a hospital right away.

If it is not an emergency but still urgent, I would call my pdoc ASAP to talk about a med adjustment if this has been going on long.
