My pdoc warned me and it's true... Brintellix can cause stomach upset if not taken with food. For me, it started at 10 mgs and I find if I take a protein drink with it I can stop the nausea from happening (or if I eat real food).

Oh is that the problem?? I take it at night and don't usually eat with it and I do get really nauseated after I take it. In fact sometimes I skip it because I don't want to deal with the nausea. I'll start taking it with food. Thanks for the info!

Yes, I've had nausea, too, even taking it with food. Granted it's minor when taken with food but still makes it uncomfortable.
