I take a pretty high dose. 400 mgs along with 10 mgs of zyprexa and 2 mgs of lorazepam. Soon I'm going to be coming off both zyprexa and lorazepam (tapering slowly) I'm scared. Ugh. Anyway it works for me...

Yes. Trazodone didn't work all that well for me.

However, it did give me really cool and vivid dreams!

Wow I was on trazodone for like 3 months and never realized that it was also an antidepressant. Seems like the sort of thing the doctor would point out...

I was just put on a small amount of trazodone to augment the withdrawal process from valium. Being an antidepressant, I am blacklisted from this class of meds as a rule.

Nice to hear others on this forum take it without so much of an issue. But I have to call and check in with the pdoc to make sure I haven't become super agitated as a result. I cannot tell if it's working or not as benzo withdrawals are a monster all their own.
