What is going on here?! I don't even know what cycle I'm in anymore lately! I'm up, I'm down, I'm undecided. I'll be smiling one minute, then sad for no reason the next. I'll THINK I'm ready to get up and do something until I get up to do it, then get down again. I can't seem to even stay consistent for 30 minutes or an hour anymore! This has been going on for quite a while now. It literally feels like my mood shifts from minute to minute these days, and I can't stand it!!!! If this is a mixed episode, just exactly HOW LONG can this last?! I'm about ready to go have my thyroid checked to see if that may be worsening my bipolar.

It's always a good idea to check hormones, thyroid. My blood pressure was up some. While reading side effects of the drugs I'm on, 2 state that high blood pressure is a side effect.
It's a good idea to get all the help you can. If your ins covers or you can afford more visits. One year I was determined to stay out of hospital. I saw a Therapist every day, my pdoc once per week and my NAMI DBSA support group once per week too. It's not your fault. I've seen PET scans of people with depression vs people without. Different parts of the brain are lit up in each comparison. If you can get a good med cocktail that keeps you stable and let's you sleep, that's great! ☕️✈️

I'm going through something similar right now. Seems like my mood changes every few hours. It's weird and frustrating.

I'm in the process of finding a GP to have my thyroid checked, and also see if I'm in early menopause. I guess a lot of the symptoms I'm having can also be a result of that. Can't hurt to get your thyroid checked as soon as possible, but meanwhile call your doctor or therapist and let them know how out of control its been for you and for how long....maybe there's something they can do to help. Good luck and hang in there.

It TRULY is! Especially when you're trying desperately to get things done and the floor keeps falling out from under you! And it's exhausting just trying to keep your energy UP long enough to finish what you've started!

No kidding lol. I keep starting my days off with good intentions to get stuff done around my disaster of a house or stuff for work, but everything keeps coming undone in the afternoons. Then I just struggle like crazy. I keep getting irritable too. I never had the bouncing around until I was on meds.
