I've been treated for BP for 8 years. Currently taking ability and lexapro.

My question is, does anyone else while being treated experience mania that seems to come and go, without experiencing the depression. Since I've been treated with my current Medication it seems I go through weeks long manic moods that dissipate into more normal states. I do not experience the depression. This I am thankful for as I have had some serious depression in the past.

My Mania tends to be moderate and doesn't get me into too much trouble but I do go without sleep, get irritable, impulsive, and fidgety. It manifests on social platforms like facebook and Mental health forums at 315 in the morning. I feel like I constantly need to be doing something. And the anxiety.

I'm not looking for a diagnosis, more looking for someone who relates to this cycle and if it can be evened out.
Hugs from:
Mrs. Mania

Sounds like you have dopamine up regulation. Have you ever tried Ritalin? Phenylalinine?

Maybe better yet Doxanthrine or Dinapsoline?
