I've noticed that the accumulation of seemingly small, petty things can cause me the greatest stress at times! Maybe because it's the simple things, which can be avoided with very little effort on my family's part, yet they insist on driving me to the brink of insanity. Here's the short list. ( feel free to add yours)
1. Waiting until I get in the shower to decide they need to use the bathroom! (I make a BIG announcement, and give them ample time to "go" before I attempt to go shower!)
2. I could go all day without a phone call, UNTIL my hands are wet from washing dishes.
3. Doing laundry is like a scavenger hunt because NO ONE knows what a clothes hamper is.
4. I'm never more popular than I am when I am BUSY! People only seem to want or need something from me when I'm doing something else.
5. People who call, but really don't have anything to say. (They'll ask a few questions about what your doing, then run out of things to talk about, but keep you on the phone listening to dead silence. HANG UP ALREADY!)

......I have more to add, but I'm being interrupted again......

My child throwing trash on the floor even though he's been told 50,000 times not to do it. He knows better. Maybe it will sink in at 50,001?

Pennies....they seem to be in every room of the house....they are heavier than their value.

That despite all the amazing technological advances, the "music" they play when you're on hold on the phone still sounds like it's coming out of a tin can (not to mention randomly cutting out and obnoxious tune selection).

And to break up this torment? Having the same ad shouted at you every 20 seconds! (Or telling you that they have a website. No ****. I'd not be calling if that was of any use! Or worked right. Or had answers to anything beyond what a moron would ask.)

Not exactly brilliant to annoy the hell out of people before actual conversation even starts.

(As if phone phobia alone wasn't frustrating enough...)
