Haha that part of the titanic when thy are searching for survivors, that phrase always pops into my head

I'm awake
I'm bored
I want to be out doing something fun and wild
Like so so bad right now
This living the straight life gets old after a while haha

If you are awake..
What are you doing
What are you thinking

Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I am currently watching outtakes from the Jackass Bad Grandpa movie.

Also currently being bored. There's half a bottle of scotch in my closet that I probably should pour out but I've been keeping around for no particular reason.

Also trying to decide how late I want to sleep in tomorrow and what type of workout I'm going to do in the morning :-/

You got my attention . I'm reading articles about the Challenger disaster trying to answer a question from 3 days ago that I no longer remember but keep thinking I'll remember if I get there, alternated with ice skating videos and reading random facts about something else I'm not admitting to reading (nothing bad though, just juvenile!). I'm actually kind of tired though so I might get to go to sleep within an hour or two.

Love that movie...dorky as it may be I think it is probably my favorite movie or one of my top 3 at least. Eh, maybe #3 with some recent additions. I don't manage to watch many movies (attention span) so I wind up with limited selections.

My new obsession is money since I started my new job. Saving how to save where are the best deals how can I save 6billion in a years time . looking for things about money
Could be the obsession off the week
Could be a natural response to being on unemployment for 6 months lol
I was watching "jokers" but I have seen them all
I think it's finally time for a boyfriend. (Yikes!).

I just woke up for a drink of water and decided to log in and see what was going on via my phone. I have to say when I touched on your subject line I was concerned you might be in crisis. I am happy to be wrong. You seem chipper.

Congrats on the new job.
i was out of work in December and the beginning of January. It was driving me crazy. Well I was manic and in patient in early December, so perhaps literally. I totally understand the joy of getting that first paycheck and then assessing the pile of bills.

I understand about diminished attention spans beyondtherainbow I watched about twenty minutes of minions and realized I had only paid attention to the first ten minutes. I gave up and took a nap. I can't remember the last book I read until the end (including the audio one I didn't finish). It is very frustrating as I used to be an avid movie and book lover. I could fully concentrate on a subtitled film in Mandarin and enjoy the heck out of it followed by some Shakespeare. That was a long time ago though.

The titanic movie reference made me smile. It wasn't my favorite movie ever, but I saw it In the theater freshmen year of college with my favorite roommate.

I saw Titanic my senior year of college with my favorite roommate. . There were a bunch of noisy kids behind us and I gave them a death glare and they never made another peep which was pretty funny. I'm generally pretty mild...but I was a camp counselor for 3 summers and I guess I knew how to use that death glare.

My mom made me watch Blindsided tonight and helped when I couldn't focus and I LOVED it. I also saw Inside Out twice this summer and LOVED it. I think it is the best framework for explaining bipolar to my nieces as they need to know more. The oldest one is nearing the point I have to give more information and the movie's context is perfect. Those are my movies. I'm not even watching shows right now because of focus issues. I should cancel netflix but as soon as I do I''ll want it back.

I love this board. So great to have company in the midde of the night. Time for me to force sleep somehow.

I'm thinking sometimes my thoughts and conscious are the world and universe around me. Life is meaningless (in a good sense) just like a river. Thoughts coming in all the time about questions that can't be answered. It's like describing a flat earth, if you believe it then there's no changing the flat earth theory in your mind. How confusing was that :/

It's like arguing time and days. Is today really Sunday the 31st? Yes it is. But what if it isn't? What significance does that have on me if today wasn't Sunday? Absolutely none. If you told me today was Wednesday I would probably believe you. Could it Actually actually be 2016? Who cares lol
Thanks for this!

jbuttz - You sound like me when I'm manic. Lol!

Anyway, I'm outside of my work having a smoke before going in.

I was in middle school (or my freshman year of high school?) when Titanic came out. We went to it at least five times.

I really liked Inside Out. Wouldn't mind seeing it again. I thought it was really creative, and it made me feel all emotional.
