As my therapist told me when I wanted to check out of in patient psych treatment in December: there will be trade offs. You will have things that bother you and you don't like. But you are getting the help you need. You are in the correct place for you right now. You are safe and monitored and can have your meds changed in ways they can't do outpatient.
So I'll say the same thing to you too. You are taking care of yourself by saying you need help. You are strong. It won't necessarily be summer camp. But you need help. And now you can get it. If you can't have a phone, I couldn't in Dec., we'll be waiting for you on the other side. |
