Sounds like you should try cymbalta.

I have bipolar and fibro. Some days it's all I can do to get out of bed and function. I have taken Cymbalta, it helped. I stopped taking it because of weight gain, it took me 6 months to wean off of it. I was then put on Gabapentin. I also take Tramadol for pain but not everyday, I'm weaning off it slowly.

Yeah the tramadol is all I know that works for the pain. Been on it for yrs. I ran out of it a couple times now and couldn't pick it up for 2-3 days n I was goin thru with-drawls pretty bad. I was extremely cold, n runny nose kinda like I had the flu. Made me realize how powerful this drug can be! Ive tried lyrica before n it just makes me reeeaally tired. Im already tired from fibromyalgia n bipolar. I just wish I could find a better drug thats not addictive. I took hydrocodone for quite awhile n got hooked n was takin twice the amount I was supposed to and the doc knew n just kept fillin it. I finally had to tell him I was hooked n needed to get off of it. Besides cymbalta what else is there for fibromyalgia?

I've known people who really benefitted from water aerobics with fibro. It's gentle enough to not be painful (and usually done in warm water which also helps) and the movement is good. One of the nursing homes I worked at took a group of women to the Y every week and I remember one woman with fibro who lived for that day.

I heard lyrica works well
Muscle relaxers taken with aleve help me. Use to take neurontin too, which helps

And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand
