Too many hands on my time
Too many feelings
Too many things on my mind
When I leave I don't know
What I am hoping to find
When I leave I don't know
What I am leaving behind

Look for the influence of a teen with bipolar.

I rarely listen to Rush anymore. It is a bit too emotional.

Guns N Roses Coma

Hey you caught me in a coma
And I don't think I wanna
Ever come back to this...world again
Kinda like it in a coma
'Cause no one's ever gonna
Oh, make me come back to this...
world again
Now I feel as if I'm floating away
I can't feel all the pressure
And I like it this way
But my body's callin'
My body's callin'
Won't ya come back to this...
world again
Suspended deep in a sea of black
I've got the light at the end
I've got the bones on the mast
Well I've gone sailin',
I've gone sailin'
I could leave so easily
While friends are calling back to me
I said they're
They're leaving it all up to me
When all I needed was clarity
And someone to tell me
WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON
******* IT!

Slippin' farther an farther away
It's a miracle how long we can stay
In a world our minds created
In a world that's full of ****

I was reading an article and stumbled across this quote (of an amazingly talented writer who happened to have classic manic depression). I loved the quote so I researched it to make sure she really made it and she did indeed. However, I have no idea in what context.

Talking Heads- Crosseyed and Painless.
To me, this song is about complete chaos and going crazy. It feels like the beginning of a manic episode.

Lost my shape-Trying to act casual
Can't stop, I might end up in the hospital
I'm changing my shape-I feel like an accident
They're back, To explain their experience

The feeling returns, Whenever we close out eyes
Lifting my head, Looking around inside.
Thanks for this!

Sing me to sleep by the smiths. It might be triggering so I won't post the link. But it's exactly how I feel. Especially I'm tired and I want to go to bed.

Nirvana "You Know You're Right"

Not how I feel right this moment, but I can really relate to this song. A few weeks ago I listened to it like 20 times in a row.

Yeah that's a really sad (but good) song. Just goes to show how depressed he was and how much he loved his daughter but couldn't escape the nightmare of drug addiction and depression.

Jamey Johnson "Cover Your Eyes"

Don't mind Jay Leno at the beginning...

Hits home for me with what I'm going through with my bf right now.

My favorite current country artist.

TV on the radio - Happy idiot

Keep in mind no-one has actually left me, I think of it as since my mind left me.

Stuck in the shade
Where there's no sunshine
I don't wanna play
With them other kids in the sun

Since you left me babe
It's been a long way down
Yea you left me babe
It's been a long way down

What you don't know won't hurt you yea
Ignorance is bliss
I'm a happy idiot
Waving at cars
I'm gonna bang my head to the wall
'Till I feel like nothing at all
I'm a happy idiot
To keep my mind off you

Stuck in a daze and I've lost my mind
I don't wanna stay
Where the blame's all mine

Since you left me babe
It's been a long way down
Yea you left me babe
It's been a long way down

So I shut it off
So I shut it all off
So I shut it off
So I shut it all off

It's been a long way down
It's been a long way down

What you don't know won't hurt you yea
Ignorance is bliss
I'm a happy idiot
Waving at cars
I'm gonna bang my head to the wall
'Till I feel like nothing at all
I'm a happy idiot
To keep my mind off you
To keep my mind off you
To keep my mind off you

I love it, and I haven't been "left" by anyone either. I've never heard of these guys
