I just started Prozac for depression 8 days ago. I beleive I am experiencing side effects from it. I have a tension headache, feel run down and I'm also itchy. I just don't even feel like my chipper self. I feel more down than before I got the precription filled. I'm not one to run to the doctor, I'll wait it out and see if the side effects wear off. I've taken Prozac several times in the past. I just don't recall the side effects in the beginning.
I just feel like poop today.

I don't think I would call it "running to the doctor"...if you have any kind of change when you start a new med...you are encourage to let your doc know...don't you think that would be best?

The itchiness concerns me. Allergic reactions to meds are nothing to mess around with, and itchiness is usually the first sign. I would make a phone call to your prescriber and report what you're feeling before it gets worse...good luck!
