I think they work on different neurotransmitters. They are definitely each distinct drugs so valium is truly different than xanax for example.

I take mine PRN. I was on clonazepam for 5 or so years using .5mg-1mg. Switched to Xanax .5mg to help with sleep but I usually end up taking 1mg by the end and get KO'd.

I don't have to survive this week, the next few days, or even tomorrow. But if I can get through this moment, and the next, I will try to make it 'till tonight. |

I'm on 2 mgs of lorazepam at night for sleep. But I'm gonna be coming off it. My psych nurse just told me too many negative things about it. I don't want to be on it anymore...

This is according to my pdoc- ativan is mild. Xanax and valium are very much stronger and addictive.
I don't like to be addicted to anything. So I take ativan very rarely. |
