Does the protein and vitamins in eggs help bipolar symptoms?

I haven't read anywhere a study that links eggs specifically to a bipolar diet. But they are an important part of a balanced diet, so I suspect they are a good addition. I know about omega-3's link to improved mood, so eating lots of fatty fish is seen as a positive step. I am trying a ketogenic diet which allows eggs as balanced nutrition. Best of all, it allows bacon too!

Probably, definitely somewhat, provided the chicken wasn't bipolar as well, of course.

i eat them sometimes. we have 6 chickens. lol @ bipolar chickens. the rooster likes to come at me all sideways and hoppy to protect his ladies. then i give him a treat like a tomato and he's cool.
doc told me don't go over 2 eggs a day cuz cholesterol. Eggs have the good type of cholesterol, but don't want too much.

I do love eggs. Not sure if they make any difference in my mood though.

I eat eggs practically ever day and have all my life. Don't think they have any effect on my BP though.

It's funny. Sometimes eggs are a good idea to me.

Other times I almost gag at the thought of them and they sit in the fridge.

One good thing- easy and fast to make! I use my mini food processor to blend them really well. I like eggs w cheese.
