And I don't mean through your skin (as in outward).

For those who smoke, do you smoke more when manic?

Yes I smoke more when hypomanic. I've been smoking like crazy for a few days now but oh well. I'll quit eventually.

I'm a non-smoker, never even tried a puff in my life and I've had manic episodes where I desperately wanted to smoke. Nobody has any idea why but it was a really weird thing to experience.

I quit 35 years ago. This year I had 2 packs of cigs. No real reason except the mania.
Now for the last week I've stopped.
Wish it wasn't so bad for health.

I think I'm kind of opposite of everyone else then. I find I smoke less when I'm hypomanic. Maybe I'm too busy doing everything else. I've actually quit smoking while hypo. When my anxiety is high is when I smoke the most.
