Now I hear from you about the anxiety. What a complicated condition.
I was attracted to it because it works on dopamine.
My xanax was reduced to 1mg a day. So back to the drawing board.
Thank you for your reply.
That makes sense. Sometimes I was irritated for no reason.

I'm sorry about my rant and the distress my posts may have caused you. It wasn't my place to intrude like that. There's no excuses, especially for the second post, I'm still sleepless for a long time, I really need to go and not come back. Hope you have a good weekend. bye.
Hugs from:

Takeshi, I personally don't think the pharmaceutical companies are intentionally only looking for meds that only treat symptoms. Antipsychotics do treat the symptoms, but by so doing they also allow the brain to "re-wire" without the strain or disorganisation that would otherwise persist.

They can be used as a good, indispensable, maintenance/prophylactic drug. For me it is an absolute must. In combination with others that allow your brain to recuperate by keeping you (more) stable.

But I do agree that generics should probably be tried first. Indeed, there is no need to re-invent the wheel for profits. But some can just be a step up. Then again, it's more difficult with the newer meds to assess the risks.
