Anyone else notice consistent bad dreams on Seroquel? I had to stop taking it a couple years ago because it conflicted with a cardiac med that I needed, but recent heart surgery eliminated the need for the cardiac med, so I resumed Seroquel, looking forward to nights of uninterrupted sleep without having to rely on Ambien (too short-acting) or diphenhydramine (ugly long-term side effects). I had since forgotten about the dreams, and they've returned. My wife told me that her father, who was on Seroquel for months before he died of esophageal cancer, reported the same side effect.

I wake up completely drenched in sweat. But I don't always remember my dreams.
3/4 probably bad.

Yes I believe it's quite common. My dreams aren't so much nightmares (unless I'm very stressed!) but they are very vivid and just plain weird. And I remember them very well after I wake up. I often get dreams that I'm watching myself like a movie. Like an out of body experience.

Thanks for this!

And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I'd say I get more like weird dreams. Very sorry you're having that. I've been interested in dreams for a long time. For me, I'd rather know what my subconscious is up to than not. The subconscious does what you tell it to, if not it comes up with its own weird ideas. Had some dreams last week that I'm thinking my subconscious mind is kind of dumb lol.
I hate bad dreams, they can really throw me off.

I hallucinated on Seroquel. A bad drug for me. Had to discontinue it after one dose.

I don't know if it's necessarily Seroquel, because my dreams are so random and weird as it is. But I have a pretty hefty cocktail I guess...
