I recently told someone who knows that I'm bipolar that I feel some mania coming on making me feel on the edge, irritable, not sleeping much, you know the usual mania symptoms.

A couple of days ago, we got into an argument. They told me they will be happy when I get over it. I asked them did they think it would be cruel to say the same thing to someone who is terminally ill with cancer. My therapist tells me that was an awesome response. However, what I wanted to say was that I'd be glad when they get over their copd and blindness.

Has anyone ever been shite on like that before? Would love to hear others' stories of near similar experiences.

No i have not been shite on like you have. I have confided in others of different things of which they slammed me as mentally ill, of which i could of punched their lights out. You do have to watch your response that it is not reacting but replying. I think the answer you gave was a good one. keep up the good work, tc
Thanks for this!
