Do Anti Psychics slow you down mentally and physically? I will be starting to play sports again and I don't want my meds to hinder my playing ability.

It depends on what type of AP med you're taking. Some are known to cause drowsiness, muscle weakness, weight gain, and dehydration.

I played while on 300mg Seroquel if that helps and I had plenty of energy and motivation. It actually made me play better coz I was calmer
