Has anyone experienced rapid cycling *after* starting a certain medication?

Before I started meds, I would have episodes of depression that lasted 3-6 months, and my hypo/manic episodes would last 3-4 weeks. I would typically get 2 or 3 episodes a year.

Ever since I started meds, I've been cycling rapidly. For example, I was depressed at the end of December for 2.5 weeks. Then I became depressed again in at the end of February for 3 weeks. Now I'm overcoming dysphoric mania (or "angry hypomania"), which has lasted 5 days.

My episodes are now shorter, but much more intense. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have taken meds and would have wicked hot flashes afterwards, if that is cycling. And i would get a rush from taking them often knocking me out cold for an hour or two. tc
