So i have been doing some research and i can't find a definitive answer to my question.

A few months back i took a rather large amount of Clonazolam & Diclazepam.
I had a rather bad reaction to it, In the end i was hospitalized for 6 weeks.
I ended up rather manic, Something that has never happened to me before.

Since then i have been hypo-manic multiple times.

Is there any connections between benzodiazepines and mania?

Any help is appreciated.

Not that I know of, but coming off them might trigger mania. I use klonopin to reduce mania and anxiety, not to add to it.

I was pretty much out of it for the first few hours, But when i was moved to the psychiatric that's when it all began. There is no way to explain how i felt, Except to say that i literally on top of the world.

You can have withdrawals the same day. Xanax, for instance lasts around four hrs.

I wouldn't think it could be withdrawals, I took around 270 pills (extremely strong). As you can imagine it's rather confusing because i'd expect that amount to put me to sleep for a long time but it had the complete opposite effect.
