Has anyone done this? I'm feeling this is the best option currently if I understand it right it wiped my debt? Can someone tell me the process and what it does and doesn't do.

I in the process right now, it depends on whether you file chapter 7 or 13, I'm married and because of our joint income I have to file 13 so I'll be paying back my debts through the courts chapter 7 wipes out the debt

How does chapter 13 work? They give you extra time?

Probably some attorney in such fields would be best to ask. On-line info may help some. Filing may be unique to each person, and what they own, or owe.
