Where there is a way or a path, it's someone else's way. Each knight enters the forest at the most mysterious point and follows his own intuition. What each brings forth is what never before was on land or sea: the fullfillment of his unique potentialities, which are different from anybody else's. All you get on your life way are little clues.

In that wonderful story, when any knight sees the trail of another, thinks he's getting there, and starts to follow the other's track, he goes astray entirely.

“In the last analysis, every life is the realization of a whole, that is, of a self, for which reason this realization can be called “individuation. “ All life is bound to individual carriers who realize it, and is simply inconceivable without them. But every carrier is charged with an individual destiny and destination, and the realization of this alone makes sense of life.” - Jung

from Joseph Campbell companion …. pg 74 … spelling mistakes are entirely mine …

… *************************** …

Each of us are here to walk our path , not someone's else's …. to enter the “world” where there is no path … to hack our own unique path … not like anyone else's … like has never been before …. to boldly go where no man, “woman”, has ever gone before …. our “own” path …. never seen before and never to be again ….
.
Peace to you … and may each and ever one find their unique way thru life …

A good reason not to follow other people. Thank you for this tiger.

Very much Tao-/Daoism, Zen Buddhism, Stoicism.

Synchronicity is also a nice concept (in relation to psychosis) adopted/developed (and the word coined) by Jung.

Psychoanalysis has great insights. Also lots of rubbish mainly due to Sigmund Freud, but it's a lot more interesting than the psychiatric gospel.

It causes instability, changeability. Fearing that will leave an emptiness between pain and joy and a greater divide.
