Got meds, saw doctor, saw psych nurse. Didn't freak out at any of those places, even though my anxiety was up a bit. I was able to stay by myself for a short period of time at the psych place and not lose it.

Made it to work on time...on a Monday....new dose of anxiety meds seems to be helping me feel better but my concentration still isn't where it needs to be. I'm staying positive though, I have all afternoon to get myself busy and accomplish some things here today

I've done two positive things today!
I kept my son home from school cause he had the sniffles and a slight cough. (I refuse to be the mom that sends her "sick" kid to school so that others don't get sick) AND most importantly, I have only smoked a half pack of cigarettes today, and at this point in the day (2:30pm), I'm usually opening up pack number 2

Finished a working from home project on my own, usually I just procrastinate doing the work. Made myself a healthy smoothie for breakfast, found new clothes that fit and walked the dogs some distance instead of right around the corner.

Tried to volunteer at the shelter for the flood victims today, made it an hour. Then had to leave feeling overwhelmed.
Will try again tomorrow.

Worked out(P90X), have not said something inappropriate, taken my medication and supplements, said hello to Leomama & wrote some music cues for a game.
