Positive things I've done today #4 :)

I was about to get a good hour and a half in of practicing a Bach Partita transcribed for double bass... What fun!

I cleaned my dishwasher. I never knew you had to do that. Took the drain out and everything, then ran a load with just vinegar in the top rack, and then a load with baking soda sprinkled around the bottom.

I also took the puppy around to visit a couple of places where there are new sights/sounds/people to socialize her. I also opened up more of the house to her today - We need to do a little more puppy-proofing, but I think we can start to eliminate some of the seriously inconvenient barriers. So far, no accidents in the house yesterday or today!

Ham and beans in the crackpot for dinner, got all the dishes washed up and laundry out of the dryer and out away.

Got thru the day without bingeing [food]. Holidays are always hard. But it's almost OVER!

Laundry, shopping, yard work, and I talked to my nephew for a few minutes. I feel accomplished from everything I have done this weekend.

Got out of bed and came to work. Struggled with that this morning but I did it.

Laundry, took my meds, ate.

Took a shower and took a looooooooong bus ride to a mall way far away to have lunch. It was good to get out. I've been tied down with a sick dog for a while and then it was the dreary holiday yesterday. And i got my hair cut!

Went to T and had a good session. Got hard drives back so they're working again. Have a project to work on.

Began a raw food diet to lose weight and detoxify. Its not to replace my meds.

Went to pdoc appt, ate a good breakfast at home, went fishing.

I got cable so I can watch shows for the fall and winter, I was just getting netflix but that was so boring I would not even hardly watch the television, Winter is coming and it gets snowy and cold for months, I just hope I can afford it

Moved my oldest son back home. Cleaned all his stuff and went through a room full of stuff at my house to clear him a room to stay in. Filled my whole dumpster up and I am not done tossing crap out. Going to be going through my whole house tossing stuff out that I don't use anymore. I am doing a giant purge. I am so glad I got my own dumpster now, it comes in handy.

Went to my case management appointment, my DBT group and my individual therapy appointment, ate dinner, took out the garbage, and took a.shower.

Got up, showered, went to work. Just started laundry, going out to dinner

Showered and got a haircut.

Showered and went to see my doctor. He was happy to hear i'm losing weight but he said dial back my goal weight from 140 to 170 as he doesn't think it's realistic. Whatever. Thirty less pounds for me to lose...

I went to my support group, got loads of fresh vegetables and fruits at the market even though I wasn't feeling well.

Cleaned the oven. Or rather, am cleaning the oven because I'm waiting for the vinegar to do the trick. I plan on making a roast chicken today but know that the last time I used the oven I filled up my apartment with smoke.

Then I might try to meet a friend later. I've been very isolated the last week and don't know how I'll react to being it in the world again. Going from my apartment (where I live alone) to the subway can be a bit jarring if you're not ready.
