What's your personal style?

I tend to wear a lot of athletic-y stuff... like Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, etc.. I sweatpants! They are the ultimate lazy clothes! I have plenty of jeans that I wear, though. (Sweatpants are mostly for indoors... Jeans are for going out.) Normally I wear a plain zip up hoodie with a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers... because I'm lazy.

Because I work full time, I have to wear nice clothes for work... So, that's more along the lines of J-Crew, Banana Republic, etc.. BUT I'm normally pretty stingy, so I only buy stuff on sale at those stores. (Banana Republic tends to have these "50% off clearance" sales... I really like those. )

I call my style "Kohls bipolar". Every season I get a certain number of t-shirts at Kohls (long or short sleeve as appropriate) and jeans or shorts as indicated and some sweatshirts. When I had a period I felt better I had some blouses to wear with jeans when I had therapy or pdoc but I gained too much weight for those and haven't been up for ironing lately. When I worked I mostly wore scrubs except for one year that I did business causal because I was sick of scrubs but since I'm on disability I haven't cared much. When I feel good I wear my hair down when I go out; otherwise it's a ponytail. Right now it has to be cut before I can wear it down because it went too long and is too heavy and curly and looks funny down.
Boring but easy.

I'm a jeans and t-shirt, hooded sweatshirt and sneakers kind of guy. I do own a pair of dress shoes though... somewhere. My dress clothes consist of a nice pair of pants and a nice sweater. Due to my aversion to buttons (a form of what they call koumpounophobia), I never wear collared shirts of any kind or dress pants that close with a button.

I'm mostly straight leg jeans and a t-shirt, though sometimes I'll mix it up and put a plaid button-up over it. It's that embarrassingly stylish 90s grunge look!

My gender is kind of all over the place, though, so sometimes those clothes don't feel right and I go to my big sweaters and cute skirts. Or I'll play around and mix them up to get Kip's Gender Chic style, haha. Lately I've even been getting back into wearing nail polish, which is extremely irregular for me! Lot of pastels, blues, and greens.

I live in my yoga pants, but rarely ever do yoga. I wear jeans when I go out. Which is usually only to the pdoc or pharmacy.

It's been bohemian/hippy for as long as I can remember until recently because I've gained weight so it is mostly sweats right now.

Once a goth chick, always a goth chick. Someone once described my style as modern Gothic Victorian Label w***e. LOL

But in all seriousness, I love vintage clothes, I love fashion and I really love shoes. Fashion one of the things I have consistently been passionate about all of my life. I wear mostly black and almost alway big platform shoes (I'm 5 foot 1).

I tend to be a jeans and tshirt/hoodie girl but sweats or pj pants at home but lately I've wore a few nicer looking things. I have no dress clothes right now bc of weight gain. I'm not going to buy any yet bc trying to lose Some.

my personal style is,

" what ever i pull out i wear"

i honestly don't have a prefered brand, or a prefered clothing style- if it fits, i'll wear it. (even if it's not exactly matching)

plus i've too many issues about my looks to care- and no one's at home with me, so i could look like a dog being dragged through a bush and no one would complain

i just don't see the point in dressing up and trying to look your best, when the bottom line is that their's no one to see

all that effert for nothing
Thanks for this!

I usually dress rather bohemian year round with the ocassional activewear. The latter looks ridiculous on me since I've gained weight so I guess I'm sticking with the hippy thing.

When I am hypo/manic though I tend to dress in a manner to draw attention to myself. Showing off my tattoos, brightly coloured hair, and a personal style rather extreme.

Depends on my episodes, sometimes. Though I do love wearing earth tones during fall and winter, and bright splashes of color during spring and summer. For shoes, I try to match what I am wearing and right now since it is summer time I have been wearing wedged sandals. Black and white outfits can be worn all year around.

And when inside the home I wear light pajamas and any shirt that is bigger 2x bigger than me. Does anyone else like wearing baggier clothes when at home?

One of my downfalls is I'm really vain, and I become even more vain (almost to the point of obsession) when I'm manic. Like Prism Bunny I tend to show off my tattoos more when I'm manic. I like attention, I always have, but I crave it more when manic. But I tend to draw attention to myself a lot, I've got long bright pink hair that I'm obsessive about maintaining.

I also have an identical twin sister, and that has caused me since a young age to try to stand apart.

I'm a teacher, so my daytime style is dictated by teacher appropriate clothing (which isn't as boring as it sounds actually). I'm all about comfort even when I work, so nothing tight-fitting, never heels, nice-looking casual. After hours and on weekends I'm a jeans, capri, t-shirt, sandals kind of gal. At home: p.j.s all the time.

I wear a lot of boho chic styles.... Stuff from FreePeople. These days I stay in and I mainly live in nightgowns with a drapey cardigan over them. And some uggs. I'm gaining weight again and everything I own is getting snug. I either need to lose weight soon or get a new wardrobe. I'm all about comfort and like my outfits to feel like pajamas, even when they are not. My jeans are all super soft and stretchy. I cannot wear anything constricting.

I'm a total goth but I'm also a fashion student so I wear a ton of different styles depending on my mood. This is a few pics of my style from the last few months.

I love your style. I can see why you're a fashion student

One of my friends has a similar skull scarf!

Maybe I can share some pics later when/if I'm not lazy

Depression coconutzo= black skinnies, black silky or chiffon tops, black boots, cozy sweaters
Manic coconutzo= Like a stylish wildly wonka- prints, weird shapes, skin showing, everything with such pizazz, expensive shoes, everything very eccentric and aloof feeling. Look at me! Look at me! I'm weird and so cool and elegant and I don't care at all

Jeans
Tshirt
Chucks.
That's pretty much all I need. I never had been nor will I ever be that girl with all the nice accessories, dresses, skirts, blouses, etc. I'm most comfortable in jeans and tees. Lately I'm been trying to dress it up a little bit (e.g. nicer tees instead old tees).
I just don't like shopping so much any more with the extra weight. I sweat this last time I bought clothes, I literally ran in the store, picked the tops I liked in the largest size, paid for them and left...and hoped for the best. So far so good. I rarely try on anything. But jeans I had to because each store is different. Once I find the right size, I'll pick up the rest in that size, different colors.
I prefer to spend my money on other things, my cars, restaurants, home décor, etc.
Oh and for work..? Luckily I only come in a couple of days a week and spend the rest at home. So that means pj's if I don't have anywhere to go. Otherwise when I'm in the office I wear a decent top, black or gray slacks, and tennis shoes or flats, depending on the weather.

And flip flops. All summer, all flip flops. I have various colors for matching, but I usually go with black because they can go with just about anything.

My style before my back surgery was kinda preppy. Wore Jean, nice blouse, heels.

Now it's stretch pants, tennis shoes or flats, decent blouse and a lot of t-shirts. I like capris with flip flops a t-shirt or a nice top in the summer.

I'm wearing sweat shorts and basketball shorts right now though bc I gained weight since last summer and can't afford new summer clothes.

My style changed a lot bc of weight gain due to meds and my back problems...
