Do you have an obsession with something? Surely everyone has an obsession.

Mine are sneakers/shoes. I loooove them! I must have over 35 pairs! I keep buying them because I love them so much.

I'll probably spend up to $80 a pair. Though, I do own a $120 pair of sneakers. (I had a $50 gift card I got from a friend, so it was more like $70 for me.)

You sound like my parents.

My dad actually has this movie scanner app:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-m...917555054?mt=8

He buys so many movies that he forgets which ones he owns! So, he has to catalogue them!

It's sad really I could name most of them. They are all lined up alphabetically and I have a book I wrote them in too which is currently up to date alphabetically. Might need to check out that app :-)

my obsession is with amusement parks.

though i've never been to 1, that does not stop me several times a day from checking the live queue times from across the world- you can ask me about any ride in any park and i know about it
it frustrates me because of my agoraphobia, and looking at everyone having fun does not help with the thoughts.

My clothes in my closet have to be organized by color and all of the clothes have to face the same direction. On top of that, one side is for casual clothes and the other side is for work clothes.

LEGO is my obsession. I know it may seem odd at my age (in my 20's) but whatever lol.

My obsession is Scrabble. I know all my two-, three-, and four-letter words. I know a bunch of seven-letter words as they get a 50-point bonus. I've dabbled in my fives but they're pretty slippery. I won the trophy for top player in my division last season. I'm on the outs with Scrabble at the moment as i've had a run of bad luck. I find this obsession comes and goes.

I have 15 years worth of comic books in my room. I'm also somebody that freaks out if I'm missing a number of something

Wow, that's impressive!

How many people are in your division? You sound like a really, really good player.

I would lose because I don't know a lot of 2-, 3-, and 4-letter words. I've been pretty awful at Scrabble every time I've played it!

@BlueBicycle: there's about ten people in my division and ten people in the upper division. I'm really good compared to casual players but not that good compared to competitive players. It's a hard obsession to have because i am a real black-and-white thinker and rate myself and die a thousand deaths with each loss. I try and see the shades of grey in a loss, like perhaps i learned something and try not to rate myself so harshly and be glad i can just play at a competitive level at all but sometimes it is too hard as during my last game where i lost by 50% -- pretty bad. I wish i had an obsessions which didn't inspire such roller-coaster emotions. I'll just take a break and if i never go back, whatever.

Books. I have over 5000. No, I didn't add an extra zero by mistake....
I had a thing about cassette tapes back in the day, and then CDs, and DVDs. I also did the crystal thing. And have more shoes than I need. And do the same thing with my clothes and closet except I add another category for short or long sleeve.....
Also a neat freak in my office, the kitchen, my garage. Everywhere really. I'm a nightmare to live with, which is why I am where I am. Even contemplating tidying my garden now and it's dark.......

Oh when I'm depressed it's a nightmare. When I come home and change clothes, they stay on the floor, usually. And after finally getting myself to do laundry, I might hang them up. Otherwise if I'm still deep in the hole, I just drape them over the laundry basket and I just hope that the wrinkles fall out by the time I get to work.

I do that too within my closet! Casual short sleeve, long sleeve, and tank tops. Work sweaters, three quarter sleeve tops and short sleeve.

And my kitchen has to be clean. I have to be depressed if it looks any different.

Independent new media on the Internet because I want the truth which you don't get on TV news. I watch at least 6 hours a day of independent news.
Thanks for this!
