Anyone find them helpful?

I've taken them on and off (currently 3,000mg per day) and have never really noticed a difference. I'm always on the fence as to whether to keep buying them, but they're pretty cheap at Costco so might as well.

I just started taking Horizant (300 mg) along with Lamictal. My psychiatrist made Horizant sound like Christmas in a bottle but I have my doubts. How long have you been on 3,000 mg? That sounds like a lot. My doctor said if you take too much it won't be effective. According to her analysis, it's like taking too many vitamins and you'll just pee everything out.

That's just her observation.

It's good if you spend the money. Open one capsule and pour it on a saucepan.
Smell it. If it smells like fish, throw it away.
It also takes like two weeks to take effect. It works. Hope this helps.

Ha, ignore my comment. I don't think it's relevant to what you were asking. Sorry, got no sleep. :\

3000 mg is too much. You should take no more than 1000 a day. And also check the EPA and DHA levels bc it's important too. I take ones with 300 mg of EPA and 220 mg of DHA, which is the highest possible. I buy them online bc the ones offered in local storesdo not have enough of EPA and DHA levels.

There are good supplements and bad supplements.

I also take magnesium, about 375 mg a day.

I do see a difference, I don't burst out that often and I literally feel no pain before my period, whilst just a few months ago it was a bloody nightmare each month.
