Bedtime. I dread sleep for some reason.

Do you exercise regularly?

lol but that's a bit long so stuck to the first bit only

is anyone apart from me still posting here?. (lol I had to ask, I feel i've overtaken the thread)

I'm here, just haven't had ready answers to the last few questions.

Do you have to change insurance/Medicare plans next year?

Same as BeyondtheRainbow- I'm reading, but there have been a lot of questions lately aimed at only a specific population, such as people who are looking for peer support. I am not, so I didn't answer the question.

I am in love with my husband and happily married. I also dearly love my son and family. My family is everything to me.

Question: Do you think people with bipolar can get to and maintain stability, or is therapy required? Realistically

I think it depends on the person. I don't think I'll ever not be in therapy (and I think my pdoc requires it of me even if I wanted to stop). But I don't have a lot of things in my life that I get from therapy so it's necessary. However I know for others that is not true.

Have you ever gone to a support group?

We ignore the holidays and don't do birthdays, either, with the exception of my brother's small children, to whom I send gifts. We don't travel. I haven't left Oahu in almost eleven years. I rarely leave the house. I operate within a large and unspeakably beautiful padded cell.

Do you ever feel the urge to reach out and apologize to people that you hurt long ago during episodes, the way AA encourages alcoholics to apologize to their victims?

Yes and have done so on several occasions. I've also written many letters I never sent.

What is your favorite thing about yourself?

I have an obscenely long tongue. I had to go to speech therapy when I was a kid. I can not only touch my nose with my tongue; I can clean it.

Do you think guilt, shame and regret may have done physical damage to your body?

Yes. I used to battle with whether my pain was a result of this or if I was actually dying from a disease.

If you celebrate the holiday at all or ever have, what is your favorite holiday food or drink?

Yes although I struggle with trust still. But we've come a long way.

What is your favorite distraction from symptoms?

Yes. My husband and I met in the psych ward! He was detoxing from a decade of alcoholism and I was suicidal. He has anxiety and depressive disorders.

Question: Is your significant other the "keep your chin up, mind over matter" kind?

Invisibility, I would love to be able to sneak onto airplanes and into places I shouldn't be.
If you could be anywhere in the world doing anything at all right now, what would it be?
