Move. Buy a house in the twin cities. Pay for a great place for my mom to live( some kind of independence living but where they make sure she eats right.) or have her live with me. Pay off my daughters mortgage. Get a newer used car( a tesla maybe?) adopt two dogs a few cats and set up a fund for domestic abuse centers and animal shelters.

Then what? The government takes 40% of my winnings via federal taxes

and if I get a lump sum, I only end up with about $100 mil b/c the lottery won't give me the full amount

So assuming $100 mil, probably buy myself a fancy house in LA or something, pay off student loans, invest some of the money in NYSE. Possibly buy a sports team, as there's lots of money in that

Buy my dream lakehouse and boat. Buy a couple of luxury automobiles. Definitely donate some to some extremely good causes such as military, veterans, and mental health charities. Make my siblings lives better. All of my friends have deserted me since my mental break, so they can all go fuke themselves. I will invest the remainder.

Buy a house for my Mom and Step Dad, buy my Mom a new car, and my Step.dad a new car. Fix up my house, give to charities, and idk what else, maybe put some in a savings, so I have it down the road.

So far, I don't see anybody prepared to receive ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY MILLION DOLLARS.

Give you a hint. Sign the ticket. You'll need protection from ur house to the lottery office and to the bank of your choice which will be?????. Lost right. There has to be several banks an insurance companies involved. It's not simple to handle big money.
Collect thru a corporation. Lump sum. 1/3 of the money to charity. 1/3 to spend, 1/3 for an annuity certain. Avoid anybody not familiar to you. Crying widows, preaching pastors. And, most of all, lawyers.

Perhaps I should have mentioned that I wouldn't be announcing that I won the lottery. I plan to get a lawyer to represent me and keep my name out of it. I'd also buy much better health insurance! That would take a huge chunk of the money. Or maybe I'd just pay outta pocket and avoid the insurance scam al together, either way the medical stuff would eat a big chunk.

I'd give each of the kids a million bucks and set up trusts for all the grandkids. I'd donate to my church, pay off my student loans and back taxes, and then I'd get weight loss surgery. After that I'd take my family on a cruise and do some more traveling, as well as buying a house and new cars for my husband and me. The rest I'd invest after consulting with a financial planner.

Buy a PTSD service dog for my friend (she wants/needs one, but doesn't have the money and assistance programs are only for veterans in my country) and then pay a hitman to kill me.
