Not a day goes by that I don't hear her call.
Since I'm Her son, Mother Moon affects positively. Gives energy. Opens the mind. Helps meditate. I've have been called a lunatic often. A Royal Title. Much honor and pride for the designation. I've earned it during certain leisure times of my good life. Some have the sun, the ocean, voodoo. I have my moon. You?.

Love and my family is what I have. It's what I live for. The moon is nice too, I'd like to visit someday.

I definitely prefer moon to sun. I love photographing her beauty and have a picture on my wall. I love the moons phases. Something to depend on and live by. I love the tides it creates, as I live right by the ocean. So many beautiful things about her.

The Earth Mother nourishes us, wraps us in warmth, while Grandmother mom watches over us as we sleep, and scares away the demons. She gives us light, when we need it most.
Father Sun gives us energy to grow crops, vitamins to feed our skin, but when we don't respect him, Father Sun is angry and destructive

A "Blue Moon" is a fairly infrequent phenomenon involving the appearance of an additional full moon within a given period. But which period — there are two definitions of the term, and one was borne out of a misunderstanding of the other. The older meaning defines a Blue Moon as the third full moon in a season that has four full moons. Called a seasonal Blue Moon, this occurs about every 2.7 years. Why the third moon? Seasons normally have three full moons, and some of them, for traditional and religious reasons, must occur at specific times of the year. So, the "Moon Before Yule" is always the one before Christmas. The other meaning is that a Blue Moon is the second full moon within a single calendar month. This definition — a monthly Blue Moon — has gained popularity in recent years because of a misinterpretation of an almanac's original definition.
