With having two boys with Special Needs, I constantly have to fight for them to get what they need from their school district. Two days ago, I had to sit in an IEP meeting for my youngest son, whose 9 and talk about keeping control.

All I wanted to do was scream and yell at these people for what they were suggesting for my son. Normally, I just let it go and write down notes to take to my lawyer, but this time, I couldn't just there. I wanted so badly place a dollar on the table and ask if they were talking about that dollar bill or my son.

My thoughts were just racing and visions of my baby struggling and being set back 20 steps were popping in my head. My patience for stupidity is less than zero these days.

The school that he is succeeding at is totally off the table which he loves going to and he has friends, but again that doesn't matter. They just want him back in their claws and set him up to fail.

I have 2 special needs children also and have been through the school run around. Good for you for sticking up for your babies. I know it is hard and my heart goes out to you. (((Hugs)))
