I am drained, emotionally, physically and psychologically. If I could I would pull the covers over my head and tell the world to leave me alone.

I wish my husband would understand that he can't fix what is happening inside me, because he is part of the problem. He treats me like a child that got their hand caught in the candy jar and has sent them(me) to my room without dinner. It's pissing me off. My life was better when he didn't know I had bipolar.

Now, I just want to hide and sleep. But of course, I can't do that. I'm just living in hell.

Can you take your husband to see your therapist and have them explain the way he is treating you is not helpful? That it's harming your relationship.

I agree with MM. Maybe try some couples counseling? my husband and I went through something similar. I would try to talk to him but he was so stubborn. After talking to his therapist, things changed for the better. His therapist really helped him be less stubborn about his ideas.

I'm so sorry you are going through this.

Are your med dosages and the timing of your meds maybe adding to this?

Echoing what others have said, think about maybe a couple therapy session, so they can explain to your husband what you're going through. Maybe then he'll understand better. And also make sure your meds are the right ones, doses, and you're taking them at the right times as that can have an effect on your mood as well. Sending you hugs.
