My new therapist seems really awesome. She's very positive and encouraging, unlike my old one. I often left those sessions feeling worse than before.

So... she does Rapid Eye Therapy to help with relaxation and overcoming negative thoughts. Has anyone else had this done? I'm open to more alternative approaches, and she says she's been counseling for 40 years and my friend (who is also bipolar) highly recommended her. I'm feeling really positive about receiving treatment from her.

That's awesome. It is so important to have a great T who you click with and can trust. I am so happy for you

I haven't done Rapid Eye Therapy but heard it is really good for PTSD. Good luck. Keep us posted.
