I've noticed an increase in bad temper with the wellbutrin. However, I was always a happy person before the diagnostic. And the last depression.
I was even funny sometimes. Or thought I was.

I feel like my sense of humor is non existent now.
Maybe that is a good thing for mankind, but not for me.
Also, I'm starting to worry about the same stupid things that sent me into a depression before.
The lithium was .4 last test. Maybe I need more. Don't know.
Or go back to the mirazapine instead of the wellbutrin. When something ain't broken.......
Only I wanted to feel even better. And maybe got punished for that. Dunno.

I doubt anything can be done short of a shrink visit.
But believe it or not, the fact that I'm sharing this with all of you has me feeling much better.

Sorry for the rambling. Thank you for reading.

Thank you guys. I can always count on you.
I'm gonna give this a week. If no improvement, doctor.
Guess I wanted to change too much too soon.
I'm getting rid of the xanax, lamotrigine and remeron at the same time.
Problem with phyc meds is sometimes when you go back to them,
the don't work the same way.
Either way it was a mistake to change so much. Last time I play doctor.

That's a lot to get rid of at once. Hopefully pdoc can sort it out.

Quitting the Xanax alone could do that...3 at once, wow that's a lot! Be gentle with yourself!

Hi Pirilin,

I have been wondering how life has been treating you, as you've been relatively quiet. I enjoy your posts and miss you.

I generally like Wellbutrin. However, sometimes it's a little too much of an "edge" and I have to stop taking it.

Be ultra-good to yourself during this challenging time.

I'm a little sad. Still playing doctor.
Depression wants to take over, but I won't allow it.
Getting out of bed is a problem again tho.
And chores that have accumulated are chocking me.

I prescribed myself a few goddies and substracted others. Bad for biz.
But I'm affraid of the doctor "I told you so".
I'm gonna finish the week like so and if I don't feel any improvement, is back to the doctor.

BTW, lithium is a great medicine for Deep depression. It got me out of the biggest one I've had.
When lamotrigine could not. I lowered from 900mg to 600 and I think is too low now.
Still, I'm much better than without lithium. I don't suffer as much once I'm out of bed.
I also lowered the wellbutrin from 200mg to 100mg. Which is not much, but I have less hand tremors.
Didn't know it can augment the shakes.

Ah, it's all a process. These things happen so we realize we didn't have it that bad. And avoid changes.

Thank you for asking and for your concern.

Oh no. I want you to feel better.

Can you switch back to remeron? (That's what you were on before the wellbutrin, right?) Maybe call your doctor right now. Ah, who cares if he/she says I told you so. You want to feel better, yes?

Hugs, p.

I wish I could offer something cheerful to make you feel better, but I have nothing right now.

I'm shaking the cage!

I think most of us have played doctor with our meds at one time or another. If the doc says I told ya so, you can tell him he doesn't know, it's all just a guessing game.

Sending you warm wishes to get better fast.
