I am very concerned to see anyone mentioning not slowly titrating Lamictal.
Failure to adhere to the titrating schedule can be very self-destructive.

If you've ever seen a serious case of SJS, you would not consider tempting fate in this way.

One of my family members has SJS from a different med. What a nightmare. An ongoing nightmare, even years later. The "rash" was very disfiguring, to say the least. So many serious complications. Its much more serious than simply a rash. Her specialists say it severely affected internal organs, as well. Her life is an ongoing hell, as she puts it.

Please follow titrating guidelines.
