So had my phone session with t. We talked about how I was doing recently (better made gym several times along with Kung fu) and what to work on next. I told her I felt great and accomplished hitting the gym as many times as I did.

So the next thing we talked about is self confidence and how to love myself. She told me to write 50 positive affirmations. Put them in a jar and pick one a day. That I will have with me all day and saying to myself all day. One I liked was "I breathe in confidence and exhale fear." I'm to do this for a month and examine my self confidence weekly.

Anyone have any exercises like this with affirmations?

I used to do those. I've gotten away from them. I need to work on my self confidence too. I'm feeling a little better since I've lost 30lbs and passed the written driving test. It's so hard bc I used to be fit and trim before my back injury. Then Seroquel and zyprexa really put weight on me.

Anyway, rambling. Yeah keep at it you're doing great!

Same here I use to feel great about myself when I was skinnier and fit.

My good friend thinks I relied too much on my looks. I agree. There's more to us than how we look.

I keep hearing that and I'm sure that's what's keeping me from happiness but I felt happy when I was fit. Heck when I went to the gym everyday last week I felt great again on top of the world. Granted didn't workout the most intense but it was still hard enough.

Yeah good for you! It gets those endorphins going. I can't do much as far as exercise bc of my back. I need to start just doing laps in my apt. Start really slow. But it hurts so I put it off...
