Seems like our discussion of An Unquiet Mind has mostly finished so it'd be good to choose a next book so we can get it before Labor Day.

Unfortunately "Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls" is not available in most libraries and cost over $150 on Amazon so left it off the poll. But feel free to leave other suggestions for next poll along with what you voted for this time around.

Manic by Terri Cheney (I may have spelled her name wrong) is a fun one. So is madness by Marya hornbacher. Also I feel like Vonnegut's son wrote a book about his struggle with mental illness. They believed in his day that it was schizophrenia but now that it was bipolar illness. It's an interesting read. I thing it's called "the Eden express"

I'm moving next week so I might be slow to get the book, but I'm sure the new library will have it.

There's a book I heard of today called My Bucket Has Holes: Living With Bipolar II.
I've never read it, but I plan to give it a read soon. It seems like a lot of books have to do with bipolar I not bipolar II, so just throwing it out there. Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk |

I voted "Touched With Fire". Diagnosing famous dead people. Creativity (what more is there).

It'll be at least two weeks before I get a chance to start the book. I'm leaving Monday and it will take two to three days to get there...then there's the unpacking to do.

That's ok. I'm sure everyone has plans for Labor Day weekend anyway so why don't we wait until then to officially start discussing but just let people know to get a copy

Welcome Bolivar! We will start Madness in a week or so but there are several other threads with the books we have read so far which are still open--An Unquiet Mind, The Skeleton Cupboard and He Wanted the Moon. Feel free to add some suggestions for next month's poll
