so the doctor at the hospital said i might have to up the dose of medication from 15mg to 20mg if things werent going away then today one of my psychiatrists lowered it to 10mg and kept saying i should be on an antidepressant this one was the one that wasnt listening to me and the other 3rd psychiatrist said nothing about the meds. the 2nd and 3rd are meant to decide who is going to be working with me but they havent even spoken yet and i am so confused and sick and tired none of them are bothered to ask how i am feeling they all just seem to do whatever. which one do you think sounds better out of the 2nd and 3rd?

Neither of them sounds good, not saying anything about the meds and lowering them both sound bad to me.

You probably need to stick with the opinion of the current pdoc who is in charge of treating you and follow his treatment plan.

(no harm in subtly mentioning to him what other pdocs suggested).

the problem is my caseworker is on a team with the female psychiatrist and so they work together more but then also the male psychiatrist i have been working with missed A LOT cause he was away for 3 months and a huge amount of stuff happened that he is ignoring and ugh this is too complicated.

What is making this even more complicated is that you are not taking your meds which has screwed everything up. You need to get back on your meds. Stop being inconsistent about them. That inconsistency adds to your problems because your symptoms have gotten worse.

That is irrelevant to which is a better doctor.

Can you tell them you are uncomfortable with the treatment options and want another opinion? It all sounds very confusing and I'm sorry. (((Hugs)))

I might try that and just tell them none of them seem to feel right at the moment but I don't know how that will go.

If you're not taking meds, why do you need a psychiatrist?

Everyone on your team wants you to take meds....If you are unwilling to take them then what does it matter which one? You are going against medical advice anyway.

<deleted> because it was a pretty sarcastic response. See whomever you want, it won't make a difference if you're going to continue not taking meds.
