Looked at my paperwork and I've been without a psychiatrist for 9 months! I'm a bit mad and happy because I've haven't had to use the hospital in that time but it's irresponsible of my old clinic to leave me that long without an appointment. I haven't been stable that whole time. No wonder I ran out of medication. My H hasn't seen a pdoc in longer than that! This is crazy. Hopefully the new clinic is less neglectful. Just I hate to give up my shot.

Nine months is a long time to not see a prescribing/treating pdoc.

On the one hand, you must feel some frustration.
On the other -- Wow. You've made it through for a long time!
