I have been listening to the classic rock hits tv radio station lately. And have also been nostalgically playing an old linkin park cd in my car.
I was supposed to see "blinkin park" concert in pa this weekend with Blink and Linkin park, but it was canceled bc of chesters death. And I just realized that musicians from almost all of my favorite bands that I grew up with are now dead, from ODs or suicides, which is a depressing thought. Muscans from all of the 90s alt grunge bands from my youth like nirvana, Alice In Chains, STP, soundgarden, LP, etc now gone. It sucks. And it's scary to think that even they weren't strong enough to fight this thing, so how the hell do any of us have a fighting chance?! But that is just me being cynical. I am trying to just be grateful for the great music they made that kept me alive during tough times over the years. Anyway sorry for the rant. |

Been listening to the staind/Aaron Lewis song Please.
I recently rediscovered it- he has the most amazing voice for expressing angst. Too bad he went country. |
