Sometimes during moods or med changes, I get hypersexual and just can't get enough. Does this happen to anyone else?

This happened to me a couple of months ago. But unfortunately I didn't have any one available for me. So I did the best I could for myself. TMI
Thanks for this!

Sex drive is a symptom of being rested and having energy, so usually a symptom of mania. When I'm on an upswing.. yea..

Idk if this would count as hypersexuality, WARNING TMI coming up, when I get hypo, I'll watch a lot of porn, like for up to 6hrs straight each night I'm hypo, like I said idk if it counts case I'm not out with anyone I can find. But that's what I get and do... Sorry for the TMI.

Porn is a pretty good distraction while manic. If I can stay focused on something I'm better off. It's when I let my mind wonder without a purpose that things go to the dark side.

Aloe gel before, during and after (which becomes before again ). I keep a big bottle in the refrig. It soothes and cools.

I totally get that way when hypo/manic. I get completely preoccupied with sex during those times. Sometimes it's just obsessive thoughts about sex, but other times, it results in risky behaviors. When I get hypersexual, it sometimes ends up affecting my decision making in a very bad way...almost like an addiction. When I fall into depression, my drive is no longer up, and I start to regret some past decisions that put me at risk. I feel so sexually "needy" at times, and I wish I didn't feel that way.

Yeah. This was one of the dominate symptoms in my diagnosis and the most dangerous because I'm married. Before treatment I had a series of random and risky affairs. When you combine impulsiveness, grandiosity, delusion, super duper confidence with hypersexuality, it's a disaster waiting to happen.

When confronted about my behavior, I told my wife and my parents that I was on a mission from God to make women feel beautiful and desirable. Seriously believed this.

So for me, it's not just about insatiable sex-drive.

Hypersexuality feels amazing. I’m not gonna lie. It never quits. Everything becomes sexual. You drip sexuality. It’s a euphoria to beat all euphoria. It appeals to the baser impulses of your potential mates. We all have those impulses, but when you’re hypersexual, impulses can become actions very quickly.

I have a FWB and 95% of the time sex is spine-tingling over the top amazing to where my whole body hums for ages after . Who could give that up? Addiction? Mania? Yes! And i don't care!

Yes. But the Effexor kills it. Also can't climax.
For that reason & it quit working and I gained weight, I'm off of it now.
Hard to be horny and always taking matters into ones own hand!!
