My hypo/manic episode lasted about 2 weeks and my depressive episode is lasting 2+ weeks (sill going on). I was wondering if that was a short time span.

Bipolar disorder varies greatly from person to person. Similarly, rapid cycling can also mean different things for different people. To meet the clinical definition, there must be 4 episodes in a year. But some individuals can experience multiple mood shifts in the same day.

Before I found the right meds I was in a two week on, two week off cycle. Like clockwork.
