This page is how I found my first psychiatrist who specialized in bipolar. I did a 6 month clinical trial with him and then started with my current pdoc (13 years!).

Maybe you can find someone on it?

I know you're tired but keep the fight going. Fight for your daughter, husband cat and meows (the loud cat that I named her for you). Keep that fight and win. You are important and your family knows it. They love you. They are worth it. You are worth it. FIGHT AND WIN RAS. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES MENTALLY to be compliant. It'll be hard but you are worth it.

Oh no. Only one person showed up for WI, and he's in Madison.

There are probably other lists like that one out there. I found that one by searching for psychiatrists specializing in bipolar (my state).

I really wish you could see someone really good, even if it were just a few times. I know how hard it is to be rural; everything is a long drive. When I started with my pdoc it was 15 minutes. Then I moved and then she moved and now it is 2.5 hours. But I needed to wind up in that system so I'm thankful for that even though it's a long drive every month. I actually have to do most things 2.5 hours away because of my MAOI; there is no way I'll trust the local hospitals to not kill me so anything complicated means going to the big city. Even my therapist is 75 minutes.

It sucks. For me the trips are worth it but I don't know I would have felt that way if it weren't all gradual transitions and wanting to keep my same providers despite adding on driving time.
